Take the 6.5 Grendel case, neck it to 6mm, feed it those sleek little high ballistic coefficient bullets and suddenly your AR-15 is reaching out to distances that used to require a much bigger and angrier rifle. Loads run 103 to 108 grain and lean hard toward the match end of the world. This is a boutique caliber and it prices like one. Production is climbing though and the patient shopper catches deals that did not exist a year ago.
