.300 WSM Ammo Prices

Winchester's 2001 attempt to stuff near magnum performance into a short action and for a while it looked like the future. It gives up little to the big .300 magnums while fitting a lighter handier rifle which sold a lot of hunters on the idea. The short magnum wave crested and receded but the .300 WSM earned a lasting place among western hunters.

Loads run 150 to 200 grain in premium hunting and match offerings. Magnum pricing applies in 20 round boxes. Hunting season moves the inventory so the off season shopper catches the better deals.
